Michael Aish is the co-founder and head coach of the Aish Football Academy. He started the business after noticing a gap in the market to help South Australia’s youth reach their highest football potential. The new initiative hopes to ultimately help young athletes make it to SANFL and AFL level.
Michael had a long career in SANFL football. He was inducted into the SANFL Hall of Fame in 2002 after playing 307 games for the Norwood Football Club (1979-1993), he is a four-time Club Champion, played 15 SA State games (Captain 1986 & 89), and was awarded the Magarey Medal in 1981 and the Fos Williams Medal in 1983. He is a two-time All Australian, four-time Norwood Club Champion and two-time Premiership player and is a part of the Norwood Team of the Century.
Michael is the co-owner of Aish, an IT and cyber security family business. He has been in this industry since taking over from his father Peter in 1999.
His passion lies in supporting the next generation of footballers, to develop them into outstanding athletes and individuals, on and off the field.
